Analysis Problem: Given a minimum acceptable voltage across Load #2, determine the smallest equivalent Load #2 resistance that can be successfully used and what power is consumed.We also want to know what voltage will exist at the terminals of Load #2 if we remove it and what short-circuit current will flow.

By nodal analysis we established open-circuit voltage.

By nodal analysis we calculated Vy. In is our short circuit current and Rth is the Thevinin resistance.
